Speed Pedal
I have a 1990 EZGO el. when I step on the speed pedal all the way down the cart stops , when I let off on the pedal the cart goes again. Could this be a speed controller problem? Any help will be helpful, thanks Pat

Re: Speed Pedal
Sounds like a throttle potentiometer problem.
Pull the black and white wires on the controller and measure between the two wires with an Ohmmeter. Pedal up should be about zero Ohms. Pedal down should be about 5,000 Ohms. Transition from 0 to 5k should be smooth and gradual as pedal is slowly pushed. If the ohmic value goes too high, the controller will shut down. |
