Default ezgo electric cart NO power

I have a 90 EZGO Marathon 36v Electric cart up untill a few days ago ran great. Plugged it up let it charge and then went out got on it, it did fine untill I started up out of my drive and it wount pull it. I acts like batterys is dead. It runs good on level ground but not up a grade.. I have a volt gauge on it and it shows full charge. Normaly when I take off it pulls the gauge down on it but now the gauge doesnt move off the full mark.. The local cart shop says It needs new batterys mine is 3yrs old now..

Welcome to BGW

what kind of batteries are in the cart?, can you give us pack volt after the cart has been fully charged and been sitting at rest off the charger for 12 hours, and each battery volts, and if you can tape the leads of your meter to the POS +, and NEG- post on the battery pack and drive it up that hill and tell us what the volts drop to under a load

Also might be a bad cable, connection or contact.

Anything getting hot? If so, it is bad and needs to be replaced.
