ezgo LED tail lites
what do you guys use to get led tail lites to blink can't just use a regular blinker like out of a car, (led does not draw enough amps to make blinker reley blink
what i did and it works under the seat i put inline a 1157 bulb that way there is enough amps to make it blink should of stayed old school now i have LED's on my 2 carts so i need some help Mike |

I had a similiar problem with my LEDs in my truck taillights, but all I used to correct it was an $8 resistor so that the truck would think it was a normal bulb. Think this would work in your application?

Adding resistors or incandescent bulbs to LED turn signals to get the flasher to work, or blink at a near normal rate, works okay, but it defeats one of the primary reasons for using LED lighting. That being lower power consumption.
Of course, turn signals are not on for extended periods of time, so the worst case scenario probably wouldn't be more than a minute or two of run-time. In fact, a strategically place incandescent bulb might work as a reminder the turn signals are on. |
