Cart ID please!
I have recently purchased and old ezgo, and have yet to find any form of identification tags or plates. What i know or have found is that it is a 36v and the top of the differential housing has a date sticker of 02-04-91. I contacted a local cart distributor and they told me based on description that it was a Medalist. The guy i spoke with told me to look under the dash, in the battery compartment and under the body on the left frame rail. None of these locations yeilded any info.
Ill update with photos when i figure out how. Here is a description of the body. It is an all steel body with forward and rearward facing seats, the backrests are one piece and mounted cross bars that attatch to the side rails. The rear seat is flush to the front seat and opens backward to reveal a plastic compartment underneath. The metal sides are removable. It has three piece tailights. |

Re: Cart ID please!
One possibility is a model called the Liberty. In production starting in 1986. Don't know when production stopped. Probably electrically similar to other ezgo models of the same year. Most likely a resistor cart but controller models might have been produced at end of production run.
A picture of the front and back and especially inside the battery/motor compartment would be nice. I have seen a couple of these in running condition in my area though very rare. (rare doesn't necessarily mean valuable in this case) |
