Default Serial # confusion

I went to the EZGO website and puched in my serial number and this is what it said:

Model:TXT
Type:Electric 36 V
Sub Model:TXT Standard (DCS)
Year:1995

Could this be an error? I thought TXT didn't start till 96?

Thanks scottyb.

My avatar is the cart. Well then the EZGO site is correct.

So mine is the less powerful model DCS not PDS.

I like the DCS carts. The stock control is junk but they respond well with the Alltrax DCX400 upgrade. They produce more speed than series and more torque than PDS. I like them
