Best Golf cart batteries?
Ok. So I would like to know what batteries to buy for my 1998 ezgo txt. I drive around town and so I would need long lasting batteries (distance and lifespan wise). Any advice will be helpful.

Re: Best Golf cart batteries?
Here is a list of 6V deep-cycle batteries that are typically used in golf carts.
Sorted with highest AH ratings at the top and then alphabetically by brand name. Adding a seventh battery in the space under the driver seat will give you greater run-time (distance) and battery lifespan, as well as speed and torque, but you'll have to upgrade the controller/solenoid and get a 42V charger. For max range, etc., go to eight 6V batteries, but fitting the eighth battery under the seat is a challenge, or the extra ones can be mounted in the bagwell. |

Re: Best Golf cart batteries?
I have a similar list for 8V batteries.
The statement at the bottom refers to run-time rather than performance. |

I see Big O's has 6 Crown 235's for $599 advertised on line. Pretty good price for that capacity, I think, but you might be able to beat that even. |
