Where to find a roll cage for a EZGO
Can anyone help with a company that makes the cage similar to the original top design on an EZGO. By this I mean straight up, or close to straight, in the front. I have talked with Outback and Jakes. They all have the front bars on a sloping sport look. I like the room in the front and my shotguns do not hit the windshield. It may be I have to get a welder? But I figured this could have been covered in another thread before?

He may kill me but .... Ya never know.. I know they work. My daughter's buddy flipped her's last summer and both got bruised but limped away.. They rolled it back up on its wheels and drove it home and other than the starter battery being on top of the engine, you could not tell that they had done it..

I know for sure that flimsy top will not save anyone.. I started to buy a cage from a sponsor, but I kinda have an idea of what I want and after talking to them this morning I think I might have to go custom. Maybe it wont cost me my next fishing trip.... |

Re: Where to find a roll cage for a EZGO
Andy lives in SC but B is near Savannah. So far I believe he has built them for carts in NC, SC and GA. Why not FL My avatar is my daughter's cart with the welded in front basket.. It also is setup where the factory roof will lie on top with some notches cut in the rear. Keeps the head cool during the summer for the old man but it is held on with velcro so she can take it off when she wants to.

Re: Where to find a roll cage for a EZGO
kg,
your daughters workhorse is the kind of set up I am looking for. Not sloped back, can use a windshield or not, use the factory top (on or off) heavy duty enough to save my fool head in an accident. I have a rear box, and a front basket already so need for extra welding. Maybe a handle for OLD folks to get in and out . I am contacting Brandon today. Wish me luck!! Hey thanks for you input.. |

Brandon is a good guy but watch out for Collin
The top tubes on mine are tucked in so you don't bash your head getting in and out and also so the factory top could rest on them.. I don't remember the measurements but I will try to get them this weekend. |
