Default PDS FNR switch relocation question

OK gurus.

I want to relocate my FNR switch on my 2007 PDS cart to cover the hole where a series shift lever comes through. I have a new center off DP switch and housing but my question is wiring. It has the stock controller and stock low current wiring. Can I tap into the harness at the top of the controller of do I need to go all the way back to the dash ? My concerns is that there are some diodes or the like in the harness I am unaware off.

Thanks in advance..

No diodes to worry about on a stock PDS system. J1Pin-1 connects to J1 Pin-3 for Forward and J1 Pin-2 for Reverse.

-------
The diodes that sometimes cause problems are in the F/R circuit of the Alltrax DCX to PDS adapter.
The DCX controller is actually designed a Plug-n-Play replacement for a DCS controller and they had to do some creative wiring to get it to work with stock PDS control harness.

So plug J1, pin 1 to the center of the switch and 2 and 3 to the outer legs. Now all I have to do is do it.. Will take pics when done.

Thanks all
