Default Reverse Problems

Hi All,

New to the forum. I was doing some work on the electrical system of my 2008 TXT PDS, and it will no longer go into reverse. When I hit the reverse button, there is no buzzer nor is there movement when I hit the accelerator. I switched the top and bottom wires on my F/R rocker and reverse position of the switched worked to move the cart forward, but forward position on the switch did nothing. Any ideas?

Just to confirm, the wiring from top to bottom is red, green, blue, correct? I did replace the terminal on the blue (bottom) wire, which did not correct the issue.

Also, for some background info, I did remove the wires from the switch for the first time to install a new switch plate, and had a little spark mishap...not sure which caused the issue.

Thanks in advance.

Welcome to BGW

did you put the switch on the controller in TOW before you removed the wires? and was it in TOW when it sparked,? it sounds like the controller has lost reverse, the controller controls F and R,
not the switch, and the spark could of burnt out the controller

Yes, it was in tow at both points in time. The spark occurred when I was checking pack voltage with a voltage meter, and I had the positive plugged in the wrong side of the meter...
