You will get a different answer from just about every expert you ask this of. What kind of readings are you getting? One thing to remember on brand new batteries is it takes about 10 cycles for them to really start cooking up to full power. So don't drain them below 6.0 volts each and recharge often, they will gain strength.

Right off the truck the T-605 battery needs to be charged fully. Any

New Golf Cart battery

needs to be fully charged before use. Try not to use them until they get a full charge too. As scotty said, they will take a few cycles to see their full potential.

The T-605 is trojans entry level battery. I have 3 sets. Properly maintained golf car will last as long as any other well maintained battery.

Once fully charged you should see somewhere in the range of 6.30 to 6.39 volts. Again this is a range and does not include variables such as their state of charge, voltmeter accuracy, charger condition. etc. My 605s are past 4 years old and after charging and settling are always between 6.27 and 6.31 volts.
