| ![]() Hi everyone, am new to this site. Just replaced solenoid on 1996 ez go and now it goes forward just fine but nothing in reverse. could I have screwed up wiring or ruined diode. Any help greatly appreciated. |

| ![]() Thanks for quick response. Prior to any problems, both forward and reverse worked fine, then changed solenoid after disconnecting battery and forward worked great, didn't check reverse until hour or so later,no response; opened up thebox that actuates reverse or forward and noticed some fairly bad corrosion on connector that contacts engage when reverse is selected, I wiggled the connector while in reverse and it did engage. I replaced the lug and cleaned the wire,coated it with dielectric grease and now neither forward or reverse works. I'm going to jackstand it and try to bypass and go to motor. do you see problem with that or any other advise. I did notice that the assembly, particularly the reverse is a little sloppy and am not sure the contacts are working as well as they should, maybe jumping those would give me some more clues and would be simpler. |

| ![]() go through your wireing on the new part agan. just make sure everything is good and tight, and nothing got put in the wront spot, thats probly the problem |
