Default update from 36v to 48v

is this as simple as just changing the batteries. this is my first cart. i would like a little more pep.

No, it's not that easy,,, you will need Batteries that equal 48 volts, 8 x 6 volts=48, 4 x 12 volt= 48 or 6 x 8 volt=48, and a battery charger to charge the 48 volt batteries, you need a new controller that will handle 48 volts, a new solenoid for 48 volts and some 4ga battery cables
