Battery gone dead
I bought a new controller, but now I think my batteries are no good. They hold a charge but when I put a load on it, it drops to 21 volts from 36. I neglected checking the cells and now seen they are out of liquid so I filled them up. Are they too far gone to bring back to life? If so is there a reason you can't use 3-12volt batteries rather than 6-6 volt batteries?

Re: Battery gone dead
You can try to save them by filling with water just above plates, charging, then refilling as needed.
6-6v batts will yield longer runtimes than 12v and longer battery pack life |
