Buying a new controller and im looking for feedback
Looking at the ge 700 amp or the alltrax 4865 650 amp Just wanting to see what people thought |

Forgot to add cart is txt series 48v converted with emp motor
Currently has npx400 controller 2 gauge cables hd f/r Stock height 4 seater with 12" wheels low profile tires |

I have never had anything but a stock cart, but from what I have heard on here, the more the merrier when it comes to amps...

FWIW,
My setup is in my sig below. I have an on board ammeter and rarely see a need for 500 amps for more than an instant. We have hills and I carry passengers, but even climbing our steepest hill, I don't get anywhere close to 500 amps. I have a speed machine though. If you are going for torque, you may could use the extra amperage. |

I have a GE 700 amp and never had a problem with (5 yrs). its pretty much a plug and play. god forbid if something happened to it i'd buy another tomorrow

The AXE4865 has a peak output of 650a. It is computer programmable.
The GE700 has a peak output of 800a. It is adjustable with a screwdriver. The AXE has more adjustments, like half speed reverse. The AXE has an LED status & fault code indicator. The AXE has a 2 year warranty, the GE has a 1 yr warranty. The AXE costs about $150 more. Both controls have a good track record. |

Will I be able to utilize either of these controllers?
My npx400 gets the job done but im wanting more low end power for those late nights at the camp site When i feel the need to do donuts lol |

I have the alltrax 500 with a D&D 502.2 torque motor. Thing is a beast. I run 27mph and the torque is amazing.
