Check the ITS microswitch in the box under the floormat. Good chance it is physically broken.

It seems ok when u push acc down the sol will acivate but when u relace the acc the sol remains activated until u cut ign sw off or put fwd/sw in netural pos.then it will decativate

If it has a Run/Tow switch, it is a DCS.
If it does not have a Run/Tow switch it is a series cart (Series wound motor)

If it is a series, it may just be a bad switch in pedal box.
If it is a DCS, it could also be a bad controller.

On a DCS cart, the controller activates/deactivates the solenoid.
The keyswitch and MS-2 on F/R assembly arm the solenoid and pedal switch tells the controller to activate the solenoid.

When key is turned off, or F/R is shifted, the solenoid is disarmed and the controller is reset.

If you have a DCS cart, it sounds like you have a bad controller.
