Charge Time?
I just got a 2001 EZGO TXT 2+2. I replaced four of the batteries which were old and leaking with new T-605's. The other two were one year old NAPA batteries which I left in. I hooked up the charger and it has been charging for about seven hours. The charger is reading 8 amperes but hasn't shut off yet. I am eager to ride it for the first time. How long do you think it will take to fully charge the batteries?

Re: Charge Time?
I did a search and found that it may take more than twelve hours or I should let it charge overnight. I will search first in the future.

Re: Charge Time?
You can unplug the charger and ride just put it back on the charger when you are done. Down to 8 amps tells us it is nearing the end .....always connect/disconnect the AC line first

Re: Charge Time?
Something to think about when charging. Each time you hook the charger up it takes one more charge off the life of the batteries, with that said I always let it finish charging before I disconnect it. Just something to think about.
