Fixed one problem, now one more... more diagnosis please

Ok, last weekend I had a problem in a previous post and found an inline fuse, that the holder for the fuse came ''unsprung". Fixed that and we're rolling. Now... I completely charge cart, turn on key, depress pedal, hear the solenoid click, no go... take off seat, depress pedal, hear solenoid click, look at Alltrax controller's light. Does its typical 4 blink green, then goes solid green. I hold throttle to floor, to see if solid green light goes a different color stays green. Now what? Do I need to start checking voltage of pack and individual batteries? I have looked for any loose connections, but will get a second set of eyes to look behind me. I swear sometimes I think stock is best...

If the controller LED flashes 4 times and goes solid green then won't go orange at full peddle check the throttle output signal. For Alltrax controls the ITS signal should read 10v, peddle pushed just until solenoid is engaged. Then 6v when the peddle is pushed all the way down.
Test leads should be at pins # 2 and 3 in no particular order.

Assuming it's a Alltrax with ITS, yes, I get four flashes, then solid green. If your solenoid's clicking, and your Alltrax light says it's happy, it sounds like you need to look at the high current loop (thick cables).

As for the test leads I assume the positive on Pin 2 and the neg on the neg of the battery?

No.....one lead on pin 2 & one on pin 3.....I made the same wrong assumption when I was troubleshooting mine.

I had the same exact problem when I first installed my Alltrax. ScottyB helped me figure out what was going on. I actually had correct ITS function. Finally figured out my 10-pin connector wasn't making good connection to the pins on the controller INSIDE the 10-pin connector. I had correct voltages at pins 2 & 3 when leads were touched to the pins OUTSIDE the connector, but bad contact INSIDE the connector. Drove me bonkers till I figured it out (by accident)....

Ok, I appreciate that! I will check these out tomorrow with the voltmeter. I appreciate the clarity. I checked all connections on the whole cart. All terminals, even the lugs on the motor. I really am at a loss. I feel its a bad connection, somewhere. Ugh.

I pulled the number 2 and 3 wires from the Alltrax controller. I placed the lead one on number 2 and a lead on 3. I pressed the pedal just a little and it read in the 12v range started to decrease a little when solenoid clicked it went down to the 6v range. So that test looks fine. This pack has not been charged for over 24hrs. Complete pack checked out at 51.3 and each individual battery ranged from 8.4 to 8.6. Now I did not disconnect any battery cables when checking this out. Next test please.

Stew, I have a DCS cart, so am not sure what steps that you need to take next. ScottyB and/or JohnnieB are two of your best choices to help troubleshoot this. I would think that your high-current loop would be the next thing to troubleshoot, though, to see if the controller is sending power to the motor. I'm sure someone has already asked, but your solenoid is clicking.....right?
