Economy 3" Lift ***HELP***
I did not want to lift my cart but had no choice since it bottoms out when i load it in my truck.
So I got the smallest lift i could find 3". Its called an Economy lift but its really a POS. Not liking it at all. The tires rub on tie rod extensions. Now alignment is off & I have no more adjustment. How do i fix this? |

Have you thought of using a couple of off-set wheels?

Just looking at the pics, can you swap the O shaped piece for the ] shaped piece? I'd think that would be better anyway, looking at the thickness of each piece, and where the loads are.

OK. Never even looked at an EZ-GO lift, and was just trying to see how the O piece could be somehow rotated out of the way. I was unsure whether steering or shocks needed the most support, as one bracket is MUCH beefier than the other.

Re: Economy 3" Lift ***HELP***
I have no idea how to help you but if you're looking for a mild lift I purchased this 2" kit from EZGO and installed it the other day and couldn't be happier. There are no modifications needed and no strange spacers like the kit you have.

I think maybe a wheel spacer will fix one problem. I just want to make sure this is not going to turn into a $200 economy lift that cost $95.00

Re: Economy 3" Lift ***HELP***
Try mounting the bracket on the steering arm on top of the arm & rotating it so that it runs parallel to the arm instead of perpendicular......
You'll have to re-align the steering with that type of lift, either way.... |
