You would need to upgrade to a solid state controller system to get rid of your coil system. Then upgrade your motor.
In turn, its way too much money to spend on a 3 wheeler.

A controller conversion will cost you around 600+++$

then the motor on top, and new cables..ect.. it gets expensive.

po·ten·ti·om·e·ter /pəˌtɛnʃiˈɒmɪtər/
Pronunciation[puh-ten-shee-om-i-ter]
–noun
1. a device for measuring electromotive force or potential difference by comparison with a known voltage.

There you go fella's and yes it can be done. You can get a conversion kit to switch from resistor coils to ESC.

I wouldn't waste the money on a 3-wheeler. JMHO.
