Default 1999 txt moves an inch

I am working on a 99txt that will only move one inch forward or reverse. Rev. buzzer is active.
There were some things done to this cart prior to my arrival and now its my turn.
It has new fully charged batteries and cables, new solenoid, diode and resistor.
The motor was pulled and rebuilt. Now is where it becomes my turn.
I installed the motor and wired it.
I have another running cart sitting in my shop and doubble checked for proper wireing. Rechecked again.
What I think I should do is check the motor first as I am not sure about the company that did the rebuiuld work.
OR, what direction should I head.
Thanks you for your time.
Steve Gapske.

Check that the solenoid diode isn't backwards.

Solenoid clicks and the diode is in correct according to the other running cart I have here.
The silver gray stripe on the diode is on the left of the solenoid as I am facing controller. ( Looking taward the rear of the cart )
Cable from left sol. terminal to B+ on the controller, another cable from B+ on controller to A terminal on the FNR selector.
Thank you for the assistance.

is the cart a series or a sepex cart?

check every high voltage cable to ensure every one is tight and secure.

Steve, the diode orientation has nothing to do with the large cable connections and everything to do with the small wire connections. Check it according to the instruction sheet below. If it's an older series or DCS cart your + wires are Red.
PDS + = yellow. Scotty

PS
The cart moves an inch because the precharge resistor loads the caps slightly, but you are not getting power thru the solenoid to sustain operation.

My wiring appears to be correct according to your schematic.
I can assume I have a bad new solenoid, I have seen stranger things.
I will change that out tomorrow, I have a new one the shelf. Ya know, the more I am thinking, there may be a used solenoid that was installed on this.
I am going by what the last guy put down on paper of items that he replaced.
As far as I am concerned, I think he was pulling what I call " swapnostics ". Just grabbing parts and changing them out hopeing to find the problem. I have never seen a list of parts change outs on one cart all at one time.
Frustrating to say the least.
My main concern at this time is sharpening reels, preparing for our championships and a few fundraisers just around the corner.
I did have one 05 EZ-GO come in today that had major front end damage. No one knows how it happened of course.
I will change the sol. tomorrow and post my findings.
Again, I thank you for your time.

Just an update
I did some testing this am and found the 'ITS' is bad.
I have one at home I will bring in Monday so I am on hold.
Will the 'ITS' cause the senerio I discribed in my first post?

Do you provide a wiring diagram for this cart?
It is a EZ-GO
D499
1169014.
I think the wireing from controler to sol., motor and selector are wrong.
If posible the diag. would be great so I dont have to pull another cart out of service.

Serial number says it is a 1999 TXT with series motor.

This should be the schematic for it.
