It's got to be in the solenoid activation circuit......

Pretty sure that PDS is same as mine (DCS), in that the solenoid has positive on that side of solenoid at all times. The controller sends negative signal to the opposite small lug when you press the pedal. You must have a problem either in the the signal from the ITS micro switch, or the controller.

Well wouldn't bypassing (jumper wire) solenoid eliminate its switch? Also if its controller wouldn't I be able to get solenoid to engage somehow to confirm that.... basically jow do I confirm its controller before I ordrr one

The solenoid activation circuit for a series cart is external to the controller, the PDS is "fly-by-wire" and the DCS is a hybrid.

Jumping B+ to the solenoid coil will eliminate nearly all the activation circuit in a series cart, about half of it in a DCS and none of it a PDS, so throw the jumper wires in the nearest trash can and break out the DVM.

With the Keyswitch ON, F/R in F, Run/Tow in Run and the pedal pushed, you should have B+ (Battery pack voltage) on all the wires highlighted in Red on attached schematic.

If the voltage is missing on any one of them, the solenoid will not click.

Chances are one of the dozen and a half connections wiggled loose during transport, or the reed switch broke/failed.

So today I figured out if u put it n tow/maintenance for a couple minutes then back to run it will work until u stop then u havr to put back in tow then back to run to make it work.... last time I did it I prolly drove 15 minutes without letting go of accelerator with no problem... then stopped and it started again about five times without problem then I parked it.... very confused

JohnnyB will chime in (& you need to listen to him! LOL), but sounds like your controller may be "going South". If I'm not mistaken, you're "re-setting" the controller each time you put it into Tow, then back to Run. Hopefully, not, & it's something else more simple (& cheap)!
