Default 02 PDS TXT won't charge

Ok I have tried two different chargers and it will not kick in and charge my batteries. I know the voltage is above 24v which I believe is the lowest for my powerize charger. Where should I start looking? The charger receptacle or what? I am currently using my 12v charger on two batteries at a time to get them up to a good charge and would like to then figure out where I need to start checking to see my issue.

I'd keep using the 12 volt charger. 24 may not be enough, and if that's the highest you can get, one or more of your batteries is shot.

I am keeping them charged up until I can fix this problem is all I am doing. I thought the charger has a low voltage point was the only thing I was trying to describe. My main question is where do I start looking in the wiring to figure out why the charger is not kicking on. Again I know my charger is good because it works on a friends cart without an issue.

My point was 24 volts may not be enough. Different chargers have different minimum voltages. The problem may not be your charger.

at the charger receptacle on the cart what is the pack volts at the black - and white + wire, make sure the white is going to the POS + and the black - NEG on the battery pack, stick your DVM in the receptacle and tell us the volts,?, when you plug the charger cord in the cart do you hear the charger relay click?

Will do. Charging last two batteries and then will hook wires back up and see what voltage I have at the receptacle. Also no I did not hear any clicks when plugging either charger into the port which had me concerned. I am also going to take the top off the receptacle and look at the ends to see if I have any issues there since I have everything unhooked anyway. Thanks again for the help. Will let you guys know what I find out. I don't think I am liking these Duracell Batteries in the cart. May be time to look at other batteries for the cart.

Old mobile service tech trick = leave the 12v charger connected and running on any 2 batteries in the pack ....... then plug the golf cart charger in. IF the GC charger starts remove the 12v charger and let the GC charger finish.

You don't need to remove any wires to charge two at a time.

Thank you all. Got the batteries up to a little over 34 volts and then threw the charger on it. Kicked right on and running now. I am sure it is going to run for a while charging those puppies up.
