What's your opinion on these tires?
I've decided to go with a 10" rim and 22" tire. I found this:
http://www.palmettospecialtytire.com...Four-22/Detail $349.99 + $32.46 UPS shipped = $382.45 I don't care about flashy rims, steel will do just fine. Does this look like a good deal? Know of a better one with the same specs? Does this brand of tire have a history? I thought about searching site sponsors, but there is only one listed? Any sponsor you would recommend for tires? |

Re: What's your opinion on these tires?
After doing some measuring on my cart earlier I figure I better go no larger than a 20" tire. I could probably get away with a 22" tire but I don't want to chance it (I have a 2" lift).
Ok, I'm completely baffled by golf cart tires. After searching the net for a few hours today I have concluded: - 20" street tires are RARE - 22" street tires must have gold weaved in them for what they cost - Anything indicating 2xx/yy-zz always works out to an 18" or 19" tire (your "low profile" fare, the math is ridiculous too, 2xxmm to inches * .yy + zz. What an inventive way of saying 18" or 19" tire) - Most chrome rims are overpriced and most are just plain ugly - Purchasing a set of four rims and tires offered in sets is a bit less expensive, but the combinations are horrible (probably by design). - Golf cart parts websites need to hire HTML coders that have a clue. Sheez, what a mess most of them are. I simply want a plain black steel 10" rim with an inch or two offset and a set of descent 20" DOT street tires purchased as a set of four mounted and ready to go. You'd think I was hunting for Jimmy Hoffa's grave via Google Earth. Sorry. Rough day. Wanna go faster. |

well to get to 20" street tires, you would need to go up to 12's for most DOT tires, but they are harder to find.
BUT there are TURF Tires available in 10", here are some I saw on the ez-go site a while back. http://www.shopezgo.com/products/20%...Tire-Only.html |
