Toe In help?
Just installed a jakes 5" drop axle lift kit, to replace the economy lift that I broke last weekend. Also bought new wheels and tires. ITP 12" Wheels and Desert Fox 23x10.5-12 tires. Both the tie rods were turned all the way In on the economy lift, which was wearing the tires that was on the cart. I'm not wanting to wear the new tires, and set this lift up right. What should the toe be on a lifted cart? As of now I have it set at 1/4" toe in. Measuring from the front of the flat part of the spindle where the wheel mounts to the rear at the same location. Any suggestions from the folks with experience in this matter?

Re: Toe In help?
You need 1/8" toe-in on the front of the TIRES compared to back of the TIRES. 1/4" from front of the HUB to back of HUB will be way too much!

Re: Toe In help?
Use a straight edge so you can measure where the tire would be. Much more accurate.

Re: Toe In help?
Got It finished, I think. The alignment was out pretty bad. The econo lift was already installed on the cart when I got it and evidently who ever installed it didn't worry about anything other than lifting it. So after I installed the 5" drop axle and did some measuring, springs, between hubs, etc. I was able to square up the hubs to the front axle for the alignment, then the toe in at 1/8" as mentioned. Took it for a ride. Steering wheel is straight, tracks straight, and steers well. Thanks for the help.
