Well, I'm thinking I might keep the EZ-Go and mate the Kawasaki Prairie 300 4x4 quad drivetrain to it. I think it will make a fun 4x4, and since the electronics are pretty well melted in it anyway, why not gut it. Plus, with the steel frame it'll be easier to weld to than one of my club cars, even though I like the body style of the CC better.
Once I determine what all needs to be done with it, and get started, I'll put up a new thread in the appropriate section to show the build. I've got to run the idea past the boss (wife), but hopefully I can get the plans sorted fairly soon. I think it will be the cheaper/easier way to get into a gas cart than buying something already modified with a big engine. This way my only expense is for a few bits and pieces, cables, hoses, clamps, wire for the welder, steel (already have lots of it), etc..
