Very nice... Something classic about the TXT body style.

Now.... let's get down to brass tacks.... lift, wheels, stereo, paint, custom upholstery, rear seat, chrome, dash, accessory batteries, more lights, motor, controller, and 48 volt upgrade.

I didn't want to spoil it for you - but welcome to owning a golf cart!

Definatly going to be some mods done. I already have a stereo for it, got some led accent lights i took of my old motorcycle for it, and i think I am going to go with hubcaps. I am going to wait and paint next year. Do you think its better to have an accessory batt or just run off of two of the 6 volts? Thanks for the reply this is a great site!

Honestly - I don't know....

I run carts with the extra battery and without. There are times when I wish I didn't have one - that way my wife wouldn't forget to charge the extra....

6 or 1 and half dozen of the other in my opinion.

Get a voltage reducer... It gets wired to the full chain of batteries, and reduces to the 12v you need for accessories. That way you aren't draining two of your batteries more than the others, which will end up shortening the life of those two, and also puts more stress on the whole chain because those two will try to draw down the others, and when charging the others will be charging longer than they need to just to get those other 2 up to snuff. I think that is the general consensus on these forums.

If not, use a separate 12v battery to run stereo, etc., and just remember to charge it separately.

no pics, but some that we've done we have put in the tray areas on both ends of the dash (most of our carts had just open trays, so we built panels to seal it off, and mounted speakers in them), some mount them in custom boxes just below the dash in the "kick panel" area, some mount them in the underside of cup holder (depending on your dash and cup holder), some mount them in the panel below the seat, facing forward, some mount in overhead consoles. I have helped build a few that have had almost all of those various options, and usually at least one subwoofer and amplifier in a box behind the front seats.
