Default 70's Legend cart directional problem (newbie)

OK so I have a 70's Legend cart.., 36v., recently had new batteries installed and motor rewound..., installed new forward and reverse switch.., somewhere in the mix I ended up with an opposite directional drive than the label at the switch..,(small problem) it appears to have almost the identical wiring schematic as the 70's ez-go resistor cart schematic.., should I just swap the S1 and A2 perhaps?..,or...??????????., thanks for any help...,

Welcome to BGW

I wouldn't just start swapping cables. You far better off trying to figure out where the mistake was made than potentially burning up the whole cart.

well since I have no exact schematic but 1 that has the same components all I can do is assume that there are 2 of the cables from the forward and reverse switch that are crossed.., I am only average or better electrical knowledge but I am not sure as to the purpose of the S1 and A2 connections on the 70's resistor cart wiring diagram.., which is a pretty close representation.

What would rewinding the motor do?
