Welcome to the forum freddo...................

Your cart is a 1998 year model.

Someone around here will probably have a wiring diagram, however, the diagrams are pretty much the same for a number of years on these carts.

If you have more questions, dont hesitate to ask.

Thanks for info Rusty , I am not sure of the wiring , I found a fuse blown in the charging recepticle which does not show on any diagram I can find , it looks original , so I am concerned it has been either rewired or I have the incorrect wiring diagram Freddo

Hey Freddo, You can get a wiring diagram on my website. cartworldinc.com Chances are someone has replace the charger port to match a charger they had. On a 98 EZGO, the factory set up is that the 50 amp fuse is in the charger attached to the amp output meter. Hope this helps

Well guys , Thanks to those who assisted me with the problems with my Electric cart , I found the diode accross the solinode had shorted which blew the foot pedal switch and that had taken out the fuse . I now await the spares to complete the repairs but have managed to prove all will then work ok by temporary measures . I would like to commend this site for the great information provided .
Regards
Fred

That is not a fuse, it is a Reed switch. It is a safety interlock and shuts the cart down whenever the charger handle is plugged into the cart.

Correct , Gornoman, It was blown to bits so without the diagram it seemed like a resetable fuse . when I eventually got the diagram It was plain to see its functon . Thanks for your input .
