I seem to recall someone posting that if you wait a few seconds after turning on the key switch, before pushing the accelerator, it may solve the problem. Worth a try.

With a diagnostic manual and a good DMV these carts are easily repairable I don't come from the school of throw parts at it till it runs. You diagnosis and repair. I believe the manual is available online. I printed off all hundred pages a couple years back.

This issue has been around for many months unsolved. It is a shame. I am one of those who has replaced and thrown away parts. All except the controller. I do not have access to a programmer so have not tried that. It really stinks to have a great cart only when it "boots" up properly after a key move:(:(:( Although there seems to be more posters here with rxv's now, nobody has been able to figure out the issue:(

Sounds like you could have a solenoid issue. I have not heard of a switch problem with the RXV.

I've replaced many plunger switches and throttle and brake switches. The throttle and break switches use 5 volts. At rest they should read .8-.9 volts then once depressed should slowly go to 4.5-4.8 volts. Any variation in the voltage will bring the cart to a no run condition. But even in the shop manual it says after every test if conditions remain the same replace the controller.
