Default ATV-style rack on cart?

I need to add a rack that doesn't increase the overall length of the cart by more than a few inches. All the ones I've seen designed for the cart are too long. I'm thinking of trying to mount an ATV-style rack, and wonder if anyone has already done this?

I searched all the threads with 'rack' in the title, didn't see anything like that.

I meant for the back, specifically if anyone had fitted one designed for an ATV - the one above is <$100, I can easily fabricate the required brackets..

I built my dump-box specifically to keep it within the body to protect it if I back into a tree. Its' about 2ft front to back, and its' a little narrower than the width of the body(maybe 30"),so it still fits a lot.Look in my avatar or album, you will see the box.A similar rack could be built in any configuration that you choose.Mine dumps, and can be removed completely(including bracket) in under 5minutes.Hope this helps.

I ended up with a storage box that attaches to the rear seat-back brackets:

I like this because it can be secured. It will be used to carry camera equipment.

I have the rack on the roof for bulky items (tripod, folding chairs)..

Here's one we did recently. its an ATV front basket mounted to the front of a 98 CC DS with a Jakes winch mount bumper. We fabricated the 4 support mounts, welded them on and then repainted the basket. Its pretty dang sturdy.

The rear mounts are bolted down under the front roof support mounts. The front support brackets are bolted to the same bolts used to mount the custom fairlead mount to the winch bumper.
