When exactly does a charger turn OFF?
Howdy people!
So I'm trying to figure out exactly WHEN a 48V automatic charger turns off. Is it when it reaches 50v? Is it when it reaches 49v? (I know it's not timed.) Any help you can provide will help me a ton! Ed |

Re: When exactly does a charger turn OFF?
Not sure they are all alike.....I think they are basically set to shut off at about2.25 volts per cell. six 8 volt battery = 24 cell system = 52volts. The reading may be higher depending on your system. And the reading will be lower after the charger has been off for about 30 minutes and the batts have had a chance to settle. Thats a more True reading....48 volts is an Empty battery pack!
