Default 2five charging problems and speed isues

ok the family at buggies gone wild have help me numerous times before so im calling on yall for help again. I have a 2011 ezgo 2five and as yall would know the charger is built into the cart. the problem I am having is the charger will not cut on. when the charger is plugged up the light never lights up and it never cuts on. with that being said, the battery pack is at 55 volts. so I am assuming that the pack is fully charged even though the battery life indicator says it is dead. witch leads me to the next problem. the cart want go above 11 mph and I know it will go faster than this. and that makes me think that it is a battery problem. so is it a problem of two different things or just one the charger not charging the batteries, even though there is 55 volts on the pack. hope there is an answer out there somewhere.

First, check the AC cord under the seat. Follow it from the body plate to the charger. In the middle, there should be a junction. Inspect the junction (it looks like a computer ac plug) for loose connection, hold it together tightly and plug the cord in. It is insulated, you wont hurt yourself.. I have had trouble with these in the past. Second, i assume you know about the "Rabbit/Turtle" speed control switch.

i did just that. i started messing with wires around the charger and got it to cut on then it when right back off. i narrowed it down to the grey wire coming from the hook up in in the front. some how it had rubbed a little coating off in a little spot i cut it out and spliced back together and plugged in and it when to working. And as fare as the speed the battery weren't charged enough. as it turns out when fully charged the battery pack should be around 60 volts never would have thought that seems to be extremely high but the cart runs like it used to, the charger also cut its self off when it hit this mark.

hope this can help some one later on.

and thanks for the advice cgtech.
