Re: 99 EZ GO txt ITS testing
Sorry, don't know of any way not installed. I can send instructions for installed?.. Only thing i can say is this, check the "donut" (black ring thing in throttle box) for continuity while its out. If it shows low ohms, it may be good. If it shows no connection, its definitely bad.

Re: 99 EZ GO txt ITS testing
I just want to make sure the ITS is bad before I go and get a new one.
In the cart black probe to the b+ red probe to the ITS (white wire or black wire) I get a reading 0.1 both side of the ITS peddle prest just enough to click the solenoid then all the way down and still only get 0.1 .... They are a little costly to buy so I just want to make sure it's the ITS. |

Re: 99 EZ GO txt ITS testing
Can't you put it back in the cart for testing? Be aware the controller sets the operating voltage. Different controllers will give different ITS readings.

Re: 99 EZ GO txt ITS testing
@ cgtech I gave it to an electrical engineer @ work and he got no continuity from it this doesn't sound good to me now, But i am still going to take it back to the cart next week and try some of the the tests i found in buggiesgonewild stickys.
Also the controler has 10 pins... is that a DCS? |

Usually an ITS has fairly high "conductivity", not zero. It's an ITS, after all. I'll check mine when the sun comes up, but it isn't zero and it isn't infinity. How can the stupid thing fail??? |
