Anoter electric problem
We replaced the batteries on a cart we got, since the old ones would not take a charge. Put them in we went 10 feet and seen they needed to be charged. We hooked the charger to the cart , the needle went to about 16 now a few hours later it is down to 8. Can anyone explain this to me.

Re: Anoter electric problem
Your batteries are charging.....normally.
When batteries are first installed they need to be fully charged. This can take 4 to 8 hrs depending on their state of discharge at the time of delivery. The 8 amp or finishing cycle is ballancing or equalizing the batteries...this takes a while and is an important step. It can sometimes take up to 12 hours to fully recharge a severly discharged or weak system........ |
