exide battery age
I need a little help, I have exide batteries that according to the previous owner were only "a couple of years old" but the charge isn't holding up very long, and it doesn't seem to have the performance that it should. I can barely even get it up the ramp to load on trailer after a full overnight charge. I have to get a running start to get it on the trailer. Checking the date code today and it appears to say BD4JUN3667. These numbers don't seem to make any sense based on what i have read. Any thoughts?

Re: exide battery age
maddog......when you decide to get to get new ones, and it sounds like you will soon......I know of a place in Lack Jackson that will treat your right.
the fact that they are a few years old......something tells me that they weren't maintained properly and are most likely on the down hill side. |

Re: exide battery age
Well it's June something.
If it barely gets up ramp after a full charge, time to replace |

Re: exide battery age
Age of batteries makes no difference. If they were poorly maintained, they're done.

Re: exide battery age
Read my sig. Once you're gonna fork over a few hundred dollars for batteries, why not make it count. It's a Man thing.
