1990 Marathon Conversion update
Well, my buddy and I finished installing Scotty's conversion in my Marathon.
I got the c74 package. I am still running 36V right now cause the batteries are relatively new and all tested out fine. The cart has a 4 inch lift with 22x11x10 street tread tires. Also, had PQ do a Bandit upgrade on the motor. That being said, I think I need to change my name on the board. I can't be Slowrider anymore. First of all, the torque is sweet. Running through the yard, the cart doesn't even slow down like before. We took our GPS and hit the street. On the straight away, topped out at 20 mph solid. 21 mph when the wind blew behind us. haha. I love it! 20 is plenty fast enough for me. I might have to duct tape the kids to the back seat though. |
