Default PDS motor disassembled (pics), need part numbers for rebuild

Cart:
2002 ezgo txt pds, 36v

Motor:
73124G08
DE8-4001

Attached is a tear down picture of my motor. It was pulled because it made noise at max rpm. I assume it's the rear motor bearing. I swapped in a known good motor into cart and it doesn't make any noise so my motor must be "bad".

I figured I'd just replace the serviceable parts, bearing and brushes.Trouble is I can't find a break down in the ezgo parts catalog of the parts. Does anyone have part numbers for the brush kit and bearing?

Notice in the picture a wire is broke off the stator? It was like that when I opened it but ran well (18 mph). I intend on silver soldering it back on.

Something is making a bunch of noise at max rpm, it must be bearing.

I think I found correct numbers using an older 2000 txt parts catalog.
Bearing: 73120-G07
Brush kit: 73120-G25

I found the bearing on ebay for $7.99 shipped.

I'll use your link for the brush kit crash, thanks.

Sportcoupe see if there are some numbers on the bearing. If you can get numbers just google them and it should bring it up. Appears to be a standard bearing, pretty similar to what is on a lawn mower deck spindle.

I would have thought it would have killed 1/4 of his power. Again, don't know much about shunt wound motors.

Also, if you can't get a bearing part number, you can email shopezgo.com and they should be able to get you that info. They did for my '98 series bearing.

I seriously doubt the broke wire was making the grinding sound I experienced only at full rpm. Still I will of course fix it during the rebuild.

For anyone that might be looking at rebuilding their txt motor here's the info I dug up.

I finally found the brush set on shopezgo (1997-2009 txt).

The bearing is there too (1994+), bearing is on backorder at this time.

I elected to buy the bearing from the previously mentioned ebay link.

Call Golf Cart King. Brent really helped me on some rear axle bearings for a complete rebuild. He could search numbers on there site that you can't access from the web.
Great Service
