Default Need advise

I am a gas man myself but.....a friend of mine has an easy go electric. He bought a new set of batteries yesterday and installed them. His wife hit the road. An hour later she was stuck at the bottom of the drive way with no power. He charged the batteries and the only thing working is the back up buzzer. Voltage is about 37 or 38 volts. Is there a reset on the newer carts? One that trips at low voltage (yesterday)? I once had an electric but it was about a 79 model with out a lot of electronics. Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks

low voltage sensor dosn,t work till batteries get at approx 28 volts, since you just put new batteries in go over all the cables again to make sure one didn,t come loose and keep in mind that new batteries are only about 70% it takes 12 or so complete charge/discharge cycles to get them to 100% and when you do you,ll notice a speed increase and longer run time........very important to break them in right......................................
