Default Flood Damaged EZGO

I live in Galveston County, Texas, recently hit by Hurricane Ike. My 1999 EZGO cart was in about 18 inches of flood waters. The batteries will take a full charge as they were not submerged. The controller seems dry and clean. The motor terminals were under water for a period of time. When the ignition is turned on the backup alarm sounds when placed in reverse. It will not move either forward or reverse. I would appreciate all suggestions. Also is there a trouble shooting chart with expected voltage readings to pinpoint the problem location?

Help would be greatly appreciated.

biggest problem i see is salt water in the motor..........the reason the cart isn,t running is it just got to wet if you let it sit and everything dry the cart will run.......they don,t like a lot of water however it being saltwater i think i would want to open motor and clean and also clean the F&R micro,s and other parts that were under water................by the way glad your ok and as i watched ike from up here in PA i prayed for you guys down there.........i hope your cart was some of your biggest damage and most everything else turned out ok........................................
