PDS Personality Plug - Mild vs Steep

Greetings - I am familiar with the four different plugs and have installed the Freedom Plug - yay, speed!

I am curious about the difference between 'Mild Hill' and 'Steep Hill'. The EZGO chart shows a difference in braking but is that the only difference?
Does the Steep Hill plug give more torque for climbing?

Also (now I am asking about the hill itself not the plug), what differentiates a mild hill from a steep hill; angle, length, marketing? Are there specific numbers or just 'common sense'?
