Default Getting rid of mechanical F/R switch

I'd like to eliminate the lever under the seat and change to a switch on the dash. As the great big lever just activates two reed switches, I wouldn't think this would be difficult. Before I engineer my own solution, are there any kits out there that do this?

Do you have a series or sepex?

Concur. That's why I asked. Likely he has "micro-switches" not "reed switches".

Of course, if you really wanted to, there's no reason you can't replace a microswitch with a contactor.

If it ain't broke, it just don't have enough features.

For your DCS cart all you need is a DPDT rocker switch. You can use a PDS in dash set up or a down by your knee CC set up.

Sorry, it's DCS. Two micro-switches activated by an over-sized mechanical lever..

So no kits, just wire my own DPDT switch?

I want to set it up so there's a blinking LED when in reverse. I have disconnected the "reverse warning sounder"..

I reconnected my backup beeper after a "not-near" miss (crash). You can mute it. Of course, you can have an "idiot light". not sure how to make it blink, but that's where Google is your friend.
