Re: How to take out a elect motor
Yours looks similar to mine. Make sure you remove the two bolts facing to toward the rear axle. When motor is loose the dust cap toward the axle will stay attached to axle. Once motor is out there are four bolts holding dust cap on. I understand that motor can be hard to remove because of it sitting for so long in one place. Takes some persuasion to pull.

Re: How to take out a elect motor
I sent my motor to EMP for their two mode(speed) setup. I should have it in the next week, but it will be 3 weeks before I get to my cart to install. I'm running 60-72 volts on mine. At 60 volts, I'm hoping for mid 30's speed.

Re: How to take out a elect motor
Dave if you don't have the motor out yet....I suggest you leave alone! Just add voltage. You will be happy with the results of a 48v conversion for 20% more power and speed ....afterall, it is a 3 wheeler and how fast do you think you can safely go in it???? Mike is a mad man, don't let him lead you a stray....
