If your cart is a 92 it is a series motor Marathon Model. If it is a later version which started in late 94 it is the TXT or Medalist Model. If it has a metal body with a plastic cowl on the front it is a Medalist. If the entire body is plastic it is a TXT. If your cart does not have a run/tow switch on the controller cover it is a series cart. If it has a run/tow switch it is a regen shunt motor. If the shift lever is below your knee with run/tow it is a DCS. If it has a push button F/R on the dash it is a PDS. PG Groves is correct that there were a few early PDS carts with a shift below the knee. But these are very rare. I haven't seen one of these in years. PDS carts also have onboard diagnostics.

I saw one of those odd balls last week. I wish I had taken a photo of the F/N/R switch. Those are some weird looking things.
