Default Another EZGO Build,, What do I have

I was told its a 2004 but the motor is labeled 2001. I was also told it only needs batteries (not so ) I put batteries in turn key on, pressed the go pedal and all I got was a click. Reverse is just a beeper, no movement at all.

Beats me! Controller possibly? Can you hear the solenoid click when you hit the pedal or just a microswitch?

WOW what a deal!!!

well the fact that the solenoid CLICKs, your problem is most likely either in the high current loop (BIG CABLES) or the chargers sensing line. if when you plug in the charger, it sees it and starts charging, then go to the high current cables.

Plug the charger in and let it go until it turns off. Won't help your trouble-shooting, but will prevent premature battery death, which is expensive.
