1984 EZGO Electric to Gas Conversion
Hi, I am new. I saw some questions on how to convert a electric cart to gas, so I thought I would post some pics of my project.

Re: 1984 EZGO Electric to Gas Conversion
I am using a 206cc Briggs & Stratton right now but I just ordered a lifen Honda copy 125 with reverse to play around with plus I wanted electric start and a charging system for lights. I also installed a 5 inch block lift but I haven't taken any pics yet.

I got the lift kit and put that on. I still have to hook up the front shocks I am thinking about making some coil over shocks.

Re: 1984 EZGO Electric to Gas Conversion
I picked up a 4x8 sheet of diamond plate and started putting some of that in. We actually used the cart today to cut some wood it pulled a trailer full of wood no problem. Some of the parts for the 125cc engine swap have started to arrive.

Thanks, your cart is sweet. Where did you get your wheels? if you don't mind me asking.

Trademark Carts. 1-866-294-6363. I searched high and low and selected these folks. I'm very pleased.

What do you have for reverse and brakes? Shoe leather?

Cool build! What kind of charging does the bike engine have? You using the tranny and clutch on a dirtbike or are you still going to use the torq-a-verter? I think it'd be pretty cool to have a 5 speed golf cart....

Re: 1984 EZGO Electric to Gas Conversion
It has the stock brakes I have not pulled the drums they seem to work fine so I haven't messed with them. I don't have reverse yet my engine comes tomorrow then I have a lot of fab work and wiring to get done. When I get that done I hope to have reverse and 3 forward speeds.
