Default Cargo box or rear seat for hunting cart?

Building a hunting cart but as I'm not a hunter which would be preferred, a cargo box or rear seat or nothing at all?

I don't know what they're called, but I built a carriage for mine and added it to the back. Perfect for hauling a deer (or a cooler of beer).
I'll see if I can get a pic at light.

personally, I would go with a folding rear seat....it will do "double duty" as both a rear seat and a cargo hauler with the seat folded down.

If it's exclusively for hunting, then I'd put a tilt bed and a small winch (to pull heavy loads into the bed)..

I'd go with the bed. A flip seat will fold up if you try and put a heavy deer or whatever else on it. As far as being double duty for a hunting cart, I've never seen 4 guys go out on a cart to go in the woods, and what if someone did kill something, the two guys originally on the back would have to walk back.

Your decision is a tough one. I had the same issue and still suffer from my choice. Most of the time 85% my cart is a utility cart. Hunt, Yard work,,, Then about 10% I am driving my wife around our lake for a look see on things. The other 5% we have a guest or two.. With the box they have no place to sit.
I have ridden in the box and my wife has driven, we have put a blanket back in the box and the grandkids ridden there, In the end it is better to have the guest drive the gasser and we all go around on the lake together,, But I wish I had done it different and like Nuke said had a fold down for box and a seat up for guest..
Good luck in your choice. If you decide to go with a box, the BRUT i have is one tough box...

I've also consider an Outback Big Buck Rack from our sponsor.

You will need Fender Flares, or a set on box for the buck rack, so all your gear stay clean and dry..I do not have FF and with the 23's I get mud and muck all under the box....
