Melex cutting out when putting pedal to metal.
Maybe someone could help m out. I have a 1991 Melex golf cart and recently It started being wierd. It has a hi and low speed motor in it but when I have the gas pedal pushed down to far it cuts out. I have to balance it about halfway down in either gear. Could this possibly be a simple fix?
Thanks...I dont want to spend 80.00 to have a shop find a loose wire or something.! |

Bad or maladjusted Pot Box (Throttle)
Curtis controllers with pot box type throttles, cut off if the throttle signal goes out of range on the high end. Don't know what the pot range should be, but if they are true EZGO clones, it is probably 0 to 5k Ohms. |
