Default How are factory headlights wired?

I have heard you need to use a 36 volt to 12 volt converter for powering accessories as to not cause premature failure of the batteries? Without a converter, how is it the factory headlights wouldn't have the same negative affect on the batteries?

some carts come from the factory with a converter......another way it could be done is to have 36v lights bulbs.

I don't see a factory converter, the accessories are wired into a fuse block.

whether it has a converter or not.....it done properly there should be a fuse block.

so on the fuse block there will be a main POSITIVE (+) and a NEGITIVE (-) going to it.....where do they originate from?

I'll check in the light tomorrow. I was told there was a converter when I bought it, but I just don't see it. I don't want the memory in my radio running down the battery between charges.

if there is a factory converter, it could be behind the dash, so it would be hard to see.

Without a converter, factory wired 12V accessories do have a negative affect on the batteries.

Batteries are not covered by the new cart warranty.

With or without a converter, any electrical accessory (attached to your cart batteries) will affect battery life!

I've had several txt's with factory lights. All were wired to two batteries, none had a converter.
