I should have said, a cap MIGHT help in one form, as a "filter" of sorts, which could be helpful to the controller.

Put a bunch of caps designed for 48+v in, and you could get a really quick burst of energy to the motor (for a second) to pull a nice wheelie or get off the line faster, but you'd be quickly disappointed after that. LOL

Weird stuff:

A battery is also a capacitor.................

A capicitor is also a filter...................

A generator on an old car is not True DC....... It's pulsating DC

Just some trivia for the fun of it........
