ok guys, i have a 2004 EZGO TXT. I bought from an old golf club and the guy says its a PDS but I dont know. Is there a way to tell? All the stickers from the golf club have been taken off so the "PDS" sticker that was on it could have been taken off....if it was ever there. please let me know

Re: PDS?
I want say he is lying but he doesn't know his carts that's for sure. Could he meant it's a DCS cart. This was the first try at the PDS. DCS cart F/R is between your legs and has the little bitty micro switches connected to the cam of the F/R switch under the seat. There is no Tow/Run switch on the controller box.
If it is a 2004 and the F/R switch is between your legs it's a fleet cart or a PDS that someone has messed with. |

Re: PDS?
Does it have the flat 5 pin connector chip in the controller? Look under the seat is it like this? This is what is under the front cover the controller is under the back one.
This is a fleet cart. Notice F/R between your legs. Rod runs to passenger side of cart. |

Re: PDS?
No! You would have to have a whole new wiring harness. The PDS is electric forward and reverse where the other's are mechanical.

Re: PDS?
so, can it ever be as fast as a PDS? like even with an aftermarket motors, will the PDS be quicker? or once you get aftermarket motors, does it eliminate the PDS. sorry for all the questions.....im used to working on four-wheelers and these electric things are all new to me.

Re: PDS?
It's like your 4 wheelie's. The more $$$$$$$$$$$$$ you throw into it the faster it will go to a point!
